The mission of Morris–Young Legacy House is to advance youth empowerment, adult development, and community well-being through structured mental health education, trauma-informed mentorship, leadership development, and culturally grounded programming that strengthens emotional resilience and long-term opportunity.
At The Morris-Young Legacy House, Inc. we provide collaborative, holistic, sustainable, and innovative mental health and social services for the underserved communities of Southern California.*
:::
*We are physically located in Los Angeles, California. However, due to the virtual nature of our programming, most of our services are available to all in the continental United States and its territories.
Building sustainable programming and innovative services through this virtual space takes teamwork. We have an amazing network of Mental Health Professionals, Advocates, Service Providers, Education and Employment Specialists, Professional Development, Leadership, and Lifestyle Coaches, as well as Fitness and Nutrition Experts to help us rebuild the WHOLE person.
Our community is our family and we strongly believe that "Everything Starts at Home."

With more than 25 years of combined experience across traditional and holistic mental health, philanthropy, and public service systems, Morris–Young Legacy House was established to address a critical need for high-quality, culturally responsive, and community-based mental health services in Los Angeles County.
:::
Serving nearly 11 million residents, Los Angeles County continues to experience disparities in access to behavioral health education, youth empowerment programming, and trauma-informed support. Morris–Young Legacy House, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was created to deliver a structured, next-generation mental health and life skills development model designed to strengthen emotional resilience, expand opportunity, and support long-term community stability.
:::
The organization specializes in youth empowerment and Transitional Age Youth (TAY) development, serving young people ages 16–25 through trauma-informed mentorship, emotional regulation education, leadership development, financial literacy, and culturally grounded programming. Through its Empowering M.I.N.D.S. and Empowering HEARTS initiatives, MYLH integrates evidence-informed mental health education with arts, culture, and community engagement to provide accessible, sustainable, and community-centered support for underserved populations throughout Los Angeles County.
